Three weeks. That's all the notice I had before Caitlin and Lee's wedding day. I received a message explaining that their original
photographer was no longer able to make it. Understandably, they were feeling stressed, but I was happy to step in and help.
Our initial video call felt like chatting with old friends. We clicked instantly, and it was lovely to hear all about their carefully
laid plans for the day. By the end of the call, I hoped I'd managed to put them at ease, and I was really looking forward to being part of their celebration.
The wedding took place at the Taunton Registry Office, and what a stunning building it is! I first met Caitlin outside, where her daughter Ivy was ready for
her flower girl duties, looking absolutely adorable. Nearby was her little brother Ronan, dressed like a proper little gentleman. What was he up to? Well,
being a baby, of course! Just sitting there, charming everyone with his presence.
Inside the ceremony room, I met Lee and their other child, Hunter, who had the important job of being the ring bearer. The ceremony itself was really beautiful,
with Caitlin and Lee sharing their own heartfelt vows – always a special moment to witness.
The celebrations then moved on to the local Rugby club for the reception. Let me tell you, the speeches were comedy gold! The room was filled with laughter, and it was clear that all their guests were having an amazing time. After a delicious meal and some tempting desserts, it was time for the cake cutting.
The first dance was lovely, and not long after, a couple of guests started cutting loose on the dance floor in a way that clearly got everyone's attention.
It wasn't long before their energy spread, and soon the dance floor was packed with everyone joining in and having a blast. It was just one of those
spontaneous moments that really showed how much fun everyone was having.
Being a part of Caitlin and Lee's wedding, even with the short notice, was a real pleasure. It was a day filled with genuine emotion, laughter, and a
whole lot of fun. Congratulations to you both!
